STRATEGY & DESIGN

We developed a content strategy and modern design for the American University of Paris’ website in the style of its new brand visual guidelines (also by Leland).

This included the creation of a bespoke homepage content strategy and slogan, the development of a custom Content Management System, and the design of 8 page templates with 47 responsive widgets. The design was built on the web platform Drupal by our development partner, Advency.

We developed a content strategy and modern design for the American University of Paris’ website in the style of its new brand visual guidelines (also by Leland).

THE HOMEPAGE

We created a new slogan and bespoke content strategy for the home page design, complete with custom widgets to illustrate the value of a liberal arts education.

We developed 8 tailormade page templates. These support the many different types of content AUP wished to display on the several hundred pages of its website.

Content Management System

We also designed a special content management system that gives prospective students a visual path to explore the university’s majors and minors, while also reviewing stories, articles and study trips that relate to their interests. This system repurposes AUP’s previously under-leveraged database of news articles, now formatted as SEO-relevant content marketing pages.

RESPONSIVE
WIDGETS

To complete the project we designed 47 responsive drop-in widgets that can be added anywhere on the site, to provide functionalities like event calendars and alerts.
